I grew up in Michigan and opossums were a common sight. I’ve also raised baby opossums as a wildlife rehabilitation and released them back to the wild. I think they are so cute! They are our only North American marsupial. Sometimes my choice of subject matter is not very popular but I hope to make people aware of these beautiful creatures whether I sell the paintings or not. I hope I’ve accurately portrayed the sweetness in this babies face and you can see that. Thank you for looking.
